Midi n° 2101. The 2101 class only get 2 units. It was an Herdner experiment to rebuilt the 2000 class as simple expansion locos with a 15 Atm. boiler and Lentz poppet valve gear. In 1912, 2101 and 2102 (ex Midi 2033 and 2004) were rebuilt again as 2 cylinders compounds with Schmidt superheater, larger HP cylinders, and piston-valves. PO-Midi 141-802, ex PO 5802. (PO works, Tours, 1914). First numbered 6201 and 6202, the 2 locomotives of this class were designed by E. Solacroup as heavy goods prototypes for "routes accidentées". 8 more were ordered, but the order was cancelled in WW 1. Both were reboilered in Perigueux works in 1935. To SNCF as 4 141 A 801 and 802.
The plan of these mikados were used in 1920 by Etat railway for 250 similar locos, and again in 1932 for 12 locos built in Poland for morrocan railways.
