Vainikkala station in Finland This is Vainikkala station in Finland as seen in August 1990. I took a train from Leningrad (now St. Peterburg) Finland station to Helsinki, Finland, via Vyborg and Vainikkala (Finland). This train is stopped, to change engines, from the Soviet electric locomotive to a Finnish locomotive. This is the first station after leaving the USSR and entering Finland. © 1990, 2005 Josh Hanz (josh_hanz@hotmail.com) |
