The inscription says: "135 years ago, on the 24th of April 1860, the first Croatian rail-line Kotoriba - Čakovec - Macinec was opened for traffic. On the same day this station was opened as well. On the occasion of 135th anniversary of that important date of Croatian Railways and city of Čakovec, this memorial board was risen by Croatian Assembly - Cakovec and Croatian Railways - Zagreb, on 1995/04/22".
