Galicia (not to be confused with Galicia in Spain and Cilicia in Turkey) is a historical region currently split between Poland and Ukraine. The Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria was the northernmost province of Austria from 1772 until 1918, with Lemberg (Lwow, Lviv) and Cracow (Krakow) as its capitals.
