The "silkworm" is a new low-floor tram developed by Durmazlar's subsidiary Durmaray. A 27.8 m long, 2.4 m wide standard gauge unidirectional tram with four 100 kW traction motors, for a minimum curve radius of 18 m. The first prototype was shown at the InnoTrans 2012 in Berlin, the first three trains are operating on a 6.5 km line in Bursa. |
