E43027, the Bo'Bo'Bo' type electric locomotive of TCDD 
is ready to depart in Haydarpaşa station, leading a 
regional train going to Adapazarı. These locos were built
by Tulomsas (Turkish Locomotive Industries) under the
licence of Toshiba, and originally designed for freight
duties,with a maximum speed of 90 km/h. Because electric
locomotives are in shortage in TCDD, they are also used
to haul passenger trains, most re-geared for 120 km/h.
