The westbound Dogu Ekspressi (East Express) begins to climb the steep ramp west of Izzettin, Turkey. January 10, 2001.

Izzettin is at the bottom of a steep westbound ramp east of Kirikkale. The climb here challanging not only because of the grade, but also for numerous horseshoe curves.
