The steel works have many locomotives, for example this wide gauge „Čmeliak”. Axles of freight trucks coming from the Ukraine are not needed to change because there is a wide gauge track from the border leading here. Special hauling vehicle of the steel works moves the trucks came from the Ukraine loaded with iron ore. T669 0516 a Kassai Vasmű vasércbuktatójánál Ezen az utolsó képen a figyelemfelkeltés céljából vadul villogó Dongó mellett látható a buktató egyik háromfázisú váltóáramú vonszolómozdonya is. Ezek a kék szörnyetegek távirányításúak, és a dízel betológép távozta után kocsinként nyomják beljebb a buktatóba a vasércszállító kocsikat. A buktató után a vágány egy kicsit lejt, így a következő által meglökött, kiürített kocsi elgurul az üresvágányra, ahol az önműködő kapcsolók miatt rögtön üresvonatot is képez. Köszönöm a figyelmed! The T669 0516 of USSteel Kosice at the iron ore unloader In this last photo you may see the blinking Cme'lak and the blue monster: a three-phase AC remotely controlled locomotive that pushes in the iron ore cars to the rotating unloader one by one, after the diesel locomotive left. The track after the unloader is slightly in grade, so empty cars knocked by the next to be unloaded just run out to the terminal and - due to the automatic coupling - form an empty train in an instant. 770 511-4 a Kassai Vasmű vasércbuktatójánál A szélesnyomtávú Dongók mindenféle színben és pályaszámmal szaladgálnak errefelé. Az acélmű Nagyida felől teljesen körbeautózható, a salakhegy nagyon látványos és jól fotózható a javított talajútról. Ez a rész nyitott, nincs elkerítve, tehát a buktató környékén nyugodtan lehet fotózni, még ha néha nem is örülnek neki nagyon a munkások.
