Former SJ standard gauge class T23 is very similar to narrow gauge class Tp, of which ULJ has one. They have acquired T23 125 from the strategic reserve for recovery of spare parts. It is placed on a narrow gauge transporter.

ULJ - Sweden
A busy scene in Marielund. The train with diesel locomotive Z4p 406 has waited for the arrival of the railbus train from Uppsala. This will be shunted away in a moment, such that the steam train from Almunge can enter the station. Only then the diesel train can depart towards Almunge and Faringe.

Now this was a real surprise. We did not expect to come across what appears to be an SJ narrow gauge line. Although we are not sure the class of the loco a plate on the side indicated that it was made in 1956. This delightful loco and its wagons were alongside the busy main line at Uppsala and was pictured on the 16th April 2004.

Additional information by Roland Bol: Loco of type Z4p, built in Kalmar (1959?).
Occasion: the museum railway "Lennakatten" (ULJ, SRJmf) from Uppsala to Fraringe was busy rebuilding its station Uppsala Östra. The line was shortened by 70m and on 16 we placed the buffer stop and new points. See www.lennakatten.se.

A Narrow gauge diesel and its train of about 5 wagons are seen alongside the main station in Uppsala on the 16th April 2004.

Additional information by Roland Bol: The "train" was only 3 wagons: the two visible and one flat car with sleepers.
