Alltough "Nebel" means fog in German, it's not fog, what you see on this picture, but smoke from a forest fire somewhere near.
We had smoke for about 50 km of the trip, together with the smell it was quite a strange experience.

How the rairoad modeils helped the railroads.
This is not an amateur railroad modeil. In the beginning of 60th, when the digital
computers was not powerful as now, the professor of BGTU (the Bryansk State Technical
Academy, Bryansk city, Russia) A. Kamaev discovered a new methods of physical modeiling
and builted the laboratory mounting for researching of the dynamic of railroad vehicles.
In this photo you can see, how the young scientists and students worked on it at that time.
Now this mounting is a symbol of Kamaev's scientific school. The scientists of BGTU are
developing now a new software for the dynamic research.
