The old raised "CCCP" globe of the SZD has been replaced
by a similarly detailed "Rossija" eagle.

RZD sleeping-car Omsk - Berlin-Lichtenberg. These wide
profile sleeping-cars, whose bogies are changed at Brest,
exceed the regular UIC 505 loading gauge and operate to
Berlin by special permission. They were built by DWA in
Ammendorf (Germany) in the early 1990s and painted in an
elegant dark green.

RZD wide profile sleeping-car Rostov - Berlin-Lichtenberg
with nine 4-bed compartments and a crew compartment,
painted in a brighter shade of green than the cars from
Omsk and Novosibirsk.

Sleeping-car train from Berlin to Rostov, Omsk,
Novosibirsk, Saratov and Astana. These cars are coupled
among each other with Russian SA3 couplers; at both ends,
UIC screw link couplers are installed (which are changed
for SA3 couplers when the train enters the wide gauge
