The station of MAJDANPEK on the railway line: Beograd - Mala Krsna -
Pozarevac - Majdanpek - Bor - Zajecar in the East Serbian region
"Timocka Krajina". Majdanpek is a well-known copper and gold mine.
If you get off at Majdanpek, you can visit the Rajko's Cave,
the Danube Lake and the beautiful Djerdap Valley, as well as the
hydro-electric power plant "Djerdap I" - the largest hydro-electric
power plant in Europe. In Donji Milanovac, a wonderful town on the
Danube ("The Town od Roses") very close to Majdanpek, you can take
a boat and make a trip on the beautiful blue Danube. Well, just take
a train on the route Belgrade - Zajecar and get off at Majdanpek!
