From couple of years there are needs for bulid a second bridge above Danube river , connecting Bulgaria and Romania , even the only one to this moment between Ruse and Giurgiu.The needs take a permition the buliding place is between Vidin and Calafat.The official web site is this:

Rail loading gantry crane part of a special rail loading/unloading train owned by CFR. The
crane is designed to load/unload welded rails with a lenght of 300 meters. The crane runs on
rails mounted on several standard platform wagons and is powered by a 49 kw engine. The train
worked on Bucurrsti Nord-Campina railway line and is used for fast rail changing operations.
CFR now owns 3 rail changing trains.

Partial view of the complete track rehabilitation machine RPM 2002 owned by Swietelsky. The
machine executed complete track rehabilitation works on the romanian part of the IV Europeean
railway corridor (Bucuresti Nord-Campina line). The machine is composed of a two-axeled trailer
carrying fuel tanks, a four-axeled tamping machine, eleven-axeled excavation machine, two-axeled
screening unit car, four-axeled crushing machine and a four-axeled drive machine with engiunes and
hydraulic plant. The full equipped train weights 560 tons and has a lenght of 140 meters. The
travelling speed is 100 km/h and the maximum working speed is 110 km/h.

Rapid raehabilitation MATISA type train, which worked on the romanian part of the IV Europeean
railway corridor (Bucuresti Nord-Campina line).
The mecanised refaction train MATISA P95 is designed for rapid track change works. The train
is able to quickly remove the old line and sleepers and install new ones.
The train has a lenght of 72 metres and a weight of 205 tons. It can travel with a maximum speed
of 100 km/h. The sleeper crane is designed to take up to 30 sleepers from the sleeper carrying
cars. It can place 24 sleepers/minute.
