What luck! This is the railway crossing outside Vladimirescu village near Arad. Timis2

This is another surprise in Arad: probaly an ex-Timis car was rebuilt as a summer "cabriolet". Inside there was only two lights in the tram, nevertheless it was also in the late-night traffic. It was in regular traffic on line 8, the photo was taken at the outer terminus Vama Micalaca. This was not supposed to be the terminus of line 8, but apparently the end of its original route was closed.
Egy újabb meglepetés Aradon: egy nyitott nyári kivitelű Timis kocsi. Ennek belsejében összesen két világítótest volt beépítve a vezetőállás falába, ezzel együtt a késő esti forgalomban is közlekedett. Ez a kocsi rendes forgalomban járt a 8-as vonalon, a fotó a Mikelakai Vám végállomáson készült, ahol a város végetér. There is an interurban tramline east from Arad to the village Ghioroc (Gyorok in Hungarian). It goes around 20 kms with the speed of 30-40 km/h, so it took around an hour to reach this terminus, where I took this picture of Timis car 15 whith its trailer. This car is going backwards, in front of it you could spot a lady in red jacket who is looking after the way. By the way, this is an interurban version of Timis cars, but on this interurban line we saw other normal Timis cars, as well as an ex-Mannheim DÜWAG GT6 with a trailer. Interesting was that the Timis cars have a bell and a horn too.
Aradtól keletre kifelé indul egy helyiérdekű villamosvonal Gyorok felé. Kb. 20 km-nyit megy 30-40 km/h-s sebességgel, így kb. egy óra, míg elérik a végállomást a villamosok. Itt készült ez a fotó, a 15-ös pályaszámú Timis kocsiról. Ez éppen hátrafelé tolat, elötte látható egy pirosruhás hölgy, aki felügyeli a tolatást. Egyébként ezek a kocsik a Timis kocsik helyiérdekű verziója, de ezen a vonalon normál Timis kocsik és Mannheimi eredetű GT4-esek is közlekedtek. Tramcar obtained from a Timis-worktram. Used during the summer in Arad, it is kept in Ghioroc depot during winter. The interior is protected by the plastic foil wrapped around. Seen in Ghioroc.
