Arad145-6-030815-NZA.jpg (92255 bytes)

This photo of Tatra T4 car 145 was made at the Terminus Piata Gai of line 6, which after crossing a railway track, goes on single track in the village-like outskirts of Arad. The terminal loop is around a church, with a larger field, were some geese are feeding... By the way, there are at least three railway crossing in Arad, and one of them is with an electrified line (this is the route to Ghioroc)!

Arad167-18-030815-NZA.jpg (75430 bytes)

This is the junction Podgoria, the north end of the inner city. This is not just a tram junction, but the national roads are crossing here. In the background of a coupled T4, you find the evidence of the nation's rediscovered religious feelings: an orthodox church is raised newly here.

Arad178_4barat-030816-NZA.jpg (58292 bytes)

This is the point, where the streets are getting so narrow on the southern side of Arad, that the two directions of tracks are taking separate routes. It is not as empty as it seems from my photos, but only a few cars are around.

Arad1xx-15barat-030815-NZA.jpg (84865 bytes)

This is the northern line at Sere Gradiste. This is a single track line heading to an industrial plant. But every second car is turning back here, at the city border, on a delta junction.

The surrounding of the south-eastern side of Arad: some dogs were lurking on the streets too.

Arad délkeleti részének környéke: nemcsak itt mászkáltak kóbor kutyák az utcákon.

Arad87-4barat-030816-NZA.jpg (65674 bytes)

Just to give you another impression of this south-eastern line: this street leads to Piata Romana terminus, with the great houses in the background.
