SIGHETU MARMATIEI , ROMANIA


Sighetu Marmatiei, also spelled Sighetul Marmatiei, formerly Sighet, is a city (municipality) in Maramures County near the Iza River, in north-western Romania. Its name in Hungarian means Island in Máramaros (Sziget=island)
