CFR RO-LA combined transport train . Glogovat - Arad - Wels ( Austria )
- Arad - Glogovat route ( 732 km ).The travel implies 20 hours.The train operates six days a week . It
leaves from Glogovat at 10 p.m. and reaches Wels the next day at 5:14 p.m. ,
leaving back to Glogovat at 10:21 and reach Glogovat in the next day at 5:15 p.m.
The train is compound of 22 wagons meant for TIR trucks and a beth-coach for the
drivers .The investment of CFR Marfa has been 12 million USD and the arranging
costs for the terminal used in this case another 1.5 million Euro .
Speed of operation : 100 km/h and the top speed 120 km/h. The maximal width of wagon loading :- ending wagon : 18,4 m. - intermediary wagon : 18,8 m . The height of the body floor from the track : - above the bogie : 454 mm. - the rest of the platform 414 mm. Automatic braking : KE GP-A. Type of bogie ( axles ) : 2+3 Weels diameter : new wheels : 370 mm and maximal wear wheels : 335 mm. The minimal range of the curve : current line: 150 m and stopping line 80 m. ( by General Motors & Electroputere - Craiova) diesel-electric locomotive 60-1008-6 , 1975 built and the 2nd is an electric
locomotive class 40 .
