CFR - EMU class 55-56-57

CFR EMU motor car 55-0013-7 in Electroputere's plant, Craiova, july 1999.

This is a prototype of a new EMU-6 built by Electroputere. The end power
cars (with cab) are class 55, the motor cars with pantograph and 
transformer are class 56, and the trailers are class 57 (just like the 6
EMUs built by Electroputere in the 70's and now out of service).

Composition: 55 + 56 + 57 + 57 + 56 + 55

AC supply: 25 kV 50 Hz; continuous power: 2720 kW, top speed: 120 km/h
