Bucuresti Nord, RomÂnia C.F.R. Marfà 060-DA-001, the FIRST locomotive of this serries, built by SLM Winterthur (Switzerland) in 1959 and delivered to the Romanian Railways in the same year. Other 5 locomotives were delivered in the same year (all are scrapped)... other 2483 (!) locomotives of the same type were built in Romania (at Electroputere Craiova, with Diesel engine made by Uzinele Resita and booghies built by Caromet Caransebes), under license, in the next 33 years. This loco was restored to its original condition in 2008. On 18 March 2005 two diesel locomotives of the Romanian railways passed through Sofia. The locomotives were 60-0581-3 and LDH 125-128 and arrived as part of a freight train hauled by locomotive 43 542.0 of BDZ. Most probably they were heading home after having been loaned to Greece.
