This line, open in several sections between 1908 and 1911, integrated together the lines Sernada do Vouga- Viseu (Open in 1914) and Viseu - Santa Comba do Dao (1890) the river Vouga Valley narrow gauge railways system. This plate, put in 2008, conmemorates the 100th aniversary of the opening of the first section of the mentioned railway, from Espinho to Albergaría-a-Velha, in november 1908.
