An unidentified EN57 emu at Kostrzyn station. Behind it you can see one of the coaches used in the Kostrzyn-Warszawa night train - in 2002, there was still a sleeping-car service from Kostrzyn to Warsaw, which (together with the 219-hauled DB train from Berlin) must have been an attractive alternative (and maybe cheaper as well) for German railway fans travelling to Poland.

The somewhat unusual track arrangement in Kostrzyn with an EN57 emu (probably bound for Rzepin) on the "ground floor" and a locomotive-hauled train (bound for Pila) on the "1st floor".

The "upper level" platforms in Kostrzyn with a train for Pila. The cross-border trains to Berlin-Lichtenberg use the right track (with customs and passport control facilities).
