From 1960 to 1975, PKP ordered 250 diesel motor-cars from Ganz-Mavag (Budapest- Hungary). This kind of transport was necessary in Poland that time, and during the service, SN61s were employed even to express lines from Warszawa to Berlin. Since end of the eighties, these cars have been withdrown and nowadays one can spot it only in museum or during any railway celebration. Presented SN61-133 from depot Chojnice was spotted in Elk on July 08, 1997.
