PKP - Poland Open Air Railway Museum in Chabówka. Lots of interesting (mainly steam) locomotives, but unfortunately much lack of maintenance.
This type of locomotive (DVM2 of MAVAG, Hungary) is well known in Eastern
Europe, with examples in former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, the USSR and Hungary.
The first 10 examples (class SM40) were not very succesful with only 10 built.
CLass SM41 has simplified controls and no less than 263 were built for PKP.
The first of these classes SM40-01 and SM41-01 are preserved in the museum.
