PKP - Poland Open Air Railway Museum in Chabówka. Lots of interesting (mainly steam) locomotives, but unfortunately much lack of maintenance.
This type of locomotive (DVM2 of MAVAG, Hungary) is well known in Eastern
Europe, with examples in former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, the USSR and Hungary.
The first 10 examples (class SM40) were not very succesful with only 10 built.
CLass SM41 has simplified controls and no less than 263 were built for PKP.
The first of these classes SM40-01 and SM41-01 are preserved in the museum.

Old Polish diesel locomotive SM40-10 in the station of Stargard on 20 June
1997. This is probably a working museum locomotive, it looks like it was
recently overhauled.

Hungarian SM40s were taken out of the service long time ago. This SM40-01, that was shunting at Zurawica Rozrzadowa freight station, was spotted at Chabowka Museum, on July 21, 1997.
