NSB type 2 No. 16, built 1861 for Kongsvingerbanen (as No. 4) by Robert Stephenson & Co. Newcastle. It remained in service until 1914. 1'Bn2+2, speed 50 km/h forward and 40 km/h backward, length 11011 mm, service weight 35.3 t. This locomotive is preserved in the state as built, the operational sister unit No. 17 "Caroline" shows a later stage with enclosed cab and big headlight. Norsk jernbanemuseum, Hamar, 2023-07-18. |
