Diesel locomotive (600 mm gauge) Jung type EL.105, built 1935 (factory No. 5952) and delivered to Freund & Pels construction company, Hamburg. One of around 200 used to build the Nordland line and the never completed Polar Railway project. The Adolph Block company used it on part of the Nordland railway. It went to NSB in 1946 and was used until 1951 in a peat factory (in the era peat was used for insulation purposes in trackwork). It was then sold and remotorized with a new engine from Kraft/Grefsen. The last industrial user was Namdal Torvindustri, the museum bought the locomotive in 2004 and shows it together with wagons borrowed from Lommedalsbanen Industrial Railway Museum. Fireless locomotive of Rjukan salpetre factory "Paal". Built 1910 by Hohenzollern AG (Düsseldorf) for Norsk Hydro. With one filling of steam it could operate for two hours. It operated until 1961. Norsk jernbanemuseum, Hamar, 2023-07-18. tobias b köhler
