View on the platforms of Eindhoven Beukenlaan, looking westwards towards Tilburg and Breda.This station was opened on 26/09/1971 as a suburban type station called "Sextant" , because the small (now closed) ticket counter had a hexagonal shape.It was also opened to give Philips employees direct access to the nearby located Philips light bulb factory , now in use as a multifunctional centre.
