Built 1955 by Ansaldo as CIWL 4552 with 20 small compartments
(type P) and operated in Italy, 1966 renumbered to 51 66 06-50 052-3,
since 1971 operated by FS as 61 83 75-41 720-6, 1992 rebuilt by CIWL
Oostende with 10 three-bed compartments as 71 84 70-70 017-7 and
operated by NS, 1995 renumbered to 61 84 70-70 017-9 (end of TEN
pool), 2002 renumbered to 61 84 70-70 417-1, it was rented to TTC
in 2004, then sold to EETC and received today's "private" number in
2006. The NS logo plate was removed recently. (I researched the
number history of all 20 cars of this type as I developed their H0
models for RailTop and L.S.Models ....)
