Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij - The Netherlands After the second world war NS acquired second-hand diesel locomotives class 2000 (originally 600) from the USA army. All have now been scrapped. VSM imported a similar locomotive from the USA in 2018 and gave it number 2019, following the original class 2001-2018. NVBS 75 festivities - The Netherlands On 14 and 15 October 2006 the Dutch railfan society NVBS celebrated its 75th birthday by running (mostly) stock from the 1930s and modern times between Arnhem, Dieren, Zutphen and Apeldoorn.
Today VSM diesel locomotive 2233 was only prepared for spare duties and for shunting.
It is seen in between the steam tram and steam locomotive 78 468 in the station
of Beekbergen.
