SHM - part of the "Stoomtram Hoorn - Medemblik" is also a ferry-service between Medemblik and Enkhuizen, on which is active the historical dutch ferry "Friesland". This boat arrives in the harbour of Medemblik on 31 august 2003

SHM - part of the "Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik" is also the ferry-service between Medemblik and Enkhuizen,
on which is active the historical dutch ferry "Friesland" (build in 1955/56),

SHM - the bridge over lock in Medemblik is opened. Attention to its driving "Panamawheel" -
this is the only left railwaybridge in The Netherlands with this kind of driving, 22-06-2002
