National Railway Museum - The Netherlands
Normally the replica of the first Dutch steam locomotive - De Arend - is hidden away in a dark display inside the museum. But in the summer it is taken outside and in steam during one weekend every month. A rare opportunity to see De Arend in steam and in the sun!

Open Train Festival at the National Railway Museum in Utrecht.
The replica of the first Dutch steam locomotive "De Arend" was in steam again today. It was built in 1938, so over 85 years old. Due to its broad gauge, it can only run on a short stretch in the museum area.
