NSM - The Netherlands
The Dutch National Railway Museum (Nederlands Spoorwegmuseum) is located in the former
Maliebaan station at Utrecht and can be reached with an hourly train from Utrecht Centraal.
130 locomotives class 2400 were built in 1954-1958 by Alsthom to replace the last
steam locomotives. Number 2498 was withdrawn in 1983 and came to NSM in 1987. It is
on display on the (working!) turntable of the museum.
