Old and new! The Almelo-Mariënberg line was the last line with regular operation of the
DE2 diesel trainsets (by Connexxion). They were replaced by LINT-41 trainsets 44 and 45
operated by Syntus on behalf of Connexxion for the Twente region.

Industrial "Akzo" line in Hengelo. The train is coming from Hengelo, the branch to
the left runs to the Akzo factory. This line used to run from Enschede to Boekelo
and Haaksbergen (now a museum line operated by MBS).

End of the industrial "Akzo" line in Hengelo. Freight trains change direction here to
go to the Akzo factory. This line used to run from Enschede to Boekelo

End station Kampen. When the Hanzelijn (Lelystad-Zwolle) opens at the end of 2012 Kampen
will get a new main line station on this line, and the original Zwolle-Kampen line will
be rebuilt for light rail operation.

for the arrival of the Hanzelijn Lelystad-Zwolle at the end of 2012.
