Because the old metrostations in Amsterdam are very unsafe due to the dark concrete construction the plan existed to renovate all stations. As a pilot the most busiest station on line 53, "Ganzenhoef" was renovated in a new glass livery. The station is very nice to see and a large improvement because when it's raining you stay dry.
<br />However, the renovation was a little bit too expensive so all the other stations on the old line will get a more basic renovation.
