On the fasttram service which is part of the metronet of Amsterdam there are special units which can run on third rail or overhead wire. These units are currently being repainted in the house livery of the transport company. Because these units are not very reliable, many days the CAF metro trainsets which were ordered for another line but from which some units can also run on overhead wires, can be seen on this line.<br />
On the photo you see an old trainset in front and a repainted one behind it.
