Three new DD-IRM cars (one of them with a cab) are being brought to Aachen
Rothe Erde by 151 062-7 on 13 February 2003. They come from Görlitz, from
here a class 294 loco will bring them to the Talbot works at Aachen Nord, where
they will be completed.

A 6-car DD-IRM seen at Aachen Rothe Erde on 15 October 2003. It was fetched
from the Talbot works at Aachen Nord short before and continued towards Aachen
Hbf later (obviously heading for it's new home country), pulled by the german
225 059-5.

Interesting and rare meeting of different Görlitz built double deck cars at
Aachen West on 11 December 2007. On the left is a German push-pull train
with a class 111 loco at the end, in regular service as RE 10421
(Aachen-Dortmund). The Dutch DD-IRM EMU (in fact just one half of a six car
train) on the right is not yet completed, a local freight train transports it to
the Talbot works where the electrical equipment and the furnishing will be
installed. Two flatcars are used as adapter as the EMU has Scharfenberg
couplers.
