On 25th May 2006, a farewell to the Hofplein and Zoetermeer line was organized. On the Hofplein line (between Den Haag Centraal and Rotterdam Hofplein), normal trains (train series 15600) were run with different kinds of normal NS rolling stock, while museum stock was used to run extra trains (series 28800).<br>
One of the museum trainsets, Plan U DMU 113, had broken down at Rotterdam Hofplein so one of the 'Olympic Koplopers', the 4240, was used instead.<br>
