Benelux service Amsterdam-Brussel. During 1986, many of the old driving trailers encountered a number of technical problems and had to be replaced. This was done either by locomotives series 25.5 in combination with a baggage-car, or by the new benelux locomotives series 11.8, in order to keep the push-pull configuration. It would still take several months before the old Benelux trainsets were eventually replaced by new stock. The picture shows two of the driving trailers on a siding in Amsterdam Central Station.
