NS - The Netherlands The last locomotives class 1700 of NS were withdrawn on 9 December 2023, being replaces for the Amsterdam-Bad Bentheim(-Berlin) international trains by Vectron locomotives leased from ELL. On 11 December locomotives 1739, 1761 and 1745 have arrived at Amersfoort, where the remaining locomotives will be stored before being sold (if any) or being scrapped. NS - The Netherlands The last locomotives class 1700 of NS were withdrawn on 9 December 2023, being replaces for the Amsterdam-Bad Bentheim(-Berlin) international trains by Vectron locomotives leased from ELL. On the first day of the through operations, locomotive 193 939 with its international train Amsterdam-Berlin arrives at Deventer. This locomotive will haul the train all the way to Berlin.
