the seats installed 2007/2008 are rather bulky which restricts
legroom.

S-TRVF 50 74 2173 006-4, B2 5571 of Trafikverket, used by
Vy in train 95 Narvik to Luleå. The 45 cars of type B2
were built 1988-1989 by Kalmar Verkstads AB, originally
painted brown and with 2+2 and 3+1 seating in face to face
groups. From 2001 to 2003 35 of them were rebuilt to B10 for
shorter distances. In 2007/2008 the remaining 10 B2 were
rebuilt to 2+2 seating in rows, which unfortunately led to
some rows without a good view out of the window.

with 2+2 interior were painted grey, sold to
Affärsverket Statens Järnvägar / Swedish
State Railways Trains (SSRT) and rented to
Tågkompaniet, Veolia and SJ. Since a reorganisation 2012
they belong to Trafikverket and are rented to Vy for trains to
northern Sweden.

the "internal number" doesn't have anything to do with the
UIC number. The original number series was 5521 to 5542 and
5546 to 5575.

rebuilt in 1994-1995 from A7/B7 series (built in the 1980s)
for the InterRegio concept. Four of them later went to SSRT
and then Trafikverket, rented to Connex and Vy. They have 68
seats including a 10-seat compartment in the middle that was
originally a smoking room.

the rebuilding program of 1994/1995 for the InterRegio
concept, based on A7 and B7 cars. They have 41 seats, a
kiosk for snacks and drinks, a staff compartment, a
compartment for passengers with animals and a baggage and
express goods compartment. Of 31 cars rebuilt in this way, 4
went to SSRT and later Trafikverket, rented to TKAB, SJ and Vy.

locomotives (1323 to 1382) originally built 1982 to 1986 as Rc5
(135 km/h), between 1992 and 1995 they were all rebuilt to Rc6
(160 km/h), in addition to the 40 locomotives built directly
as Rc6 (1383 to 1422).
The handling of UIC numbers in Sweden is rather uninspired
and has no relation to the internal number.

14 went to SSRT to be rented to other companies and got a
grey and red livery. Since 2020 these are running for the
Norwegian company Vy, while SJ operates trains on Norway's
north-south line.

the passenger station with an empty ore train. 34 units of
the IORE series were built 2000 to 2013 by Adtranz/Bombardier
and are used in pairs in front of heavy iron ore trains between
Narvik, Kiruna, Malmberget (Gällivare) and Luleå.
