Oslo Sporveien T-banen No. 3180, type MX3000 (Siemens), line 1,
has just arrived at the end station Frognerseteren. On part of
line 1 the stations are shorter so only the first two cars will
open their doors.

the only type of rolling stock used on T-banen.

Steam locomotive LKAB No. 5 "Bifrost" built 1882 by NOHAB
Trollhättan as the second of seven of its type. Used in
Skåne (Sweden) until 1900, then sold to LKAB and used
in Narvik from 1901 to build the port railway, afterwards
used as shunter from 1903 to 1942.
The name Bifrost derives from Norse mythology and was
described as a burning rainbow bridge between Midgard, the
world, and Asgard, the realm of the gods.

Bleiken station on the Gjøvik line. Nowadays this is
just a stop on the single track line but the overhead wire
supports indicate that it used to have more tracks in the past.

Passenger trains to Sweden begin here, for freight trains
(iron ore and containers) the line continues west and south
to the port. Behind the station you see Narvikfjellet ski
resort with several lifts.
