N-NOR 94 76 0472 003-9, Norske Tog / Vy 72-03, built 2001 by
Ansaldo-Breda. One of 36 trainsets, 25 of which are used as
commuter trains around Oslo and operated by Vy, 11 are based
at Stavanger and operated by GoAhead.

additional units wasn't ordered due to a number of problems
with the first series.

Line F6 (Oslo - Trondheim). The train has just arrived in Dovre, a
small station just long enough for a 4-car train, and couldn't go
on due to a defective overhead wire. So we all had to wait for
replacement buses and hope to catch our connection in Trondheim.

Line F6 (Oslo - Trondheim). The train has just arrived in Dovre, a
small station just long enough for a 4-car train, and couldn't go
on due to a defective overhead wire. Passengers, some with bicycles,
had to get out of the train. After some wait, the first replacement
bus went for passengers having to change to the night train in
Trondheim, passengers to other destinations had to wait a bit longer.

Line F6 (Oslo - Trondheim). I boarded this train in Hamar to go to
Trondheim and change into the night train to Bodø, but it
only went as far as Dovre, with the rest of the line blocked by a
defective overhead wire.

This train was rebuilt from 5-abreast to 4-abreast seating when
it was decided to use it in intercity service. It is capable of
reaching 200 km/h and has good acceleration, but no tilting.

Strangely the seats are of different width; some of the original
narrower seats were kept due to the off-center stairs down into

Entrance doors. With folding seats, handrails and no separation
to the seating area it has a bit of regional-train ambience
despite being used in international intercity service.
