NSB Di 3a 602. Built 1954 by Nohab/GM, tested in Norway as Nohab 2246, 1956 taken over by NSB as Di 3a 602. Regular service until 1995, since 1997 in the museum. In its active time the locomotive has covered over 7 million kilometers. 32 locomotives of class Di 3a were built 1954 to 1969. Co'Co', length 18.6 m, 102 t, 105 km/h, 1305 kW. NSB Di 3a 602. Initially these locomotives operated on the Bergen, Dovre and Nordland lines, replacing steam locomotives. After the electrification of the Bergen and Dovre lines and the delivery of more powerful Di 4 for the Nordland line, Di 3 continued to be used on secondary lines until around 2000 when many of them were sold to other railways. NSB Di 3b 642. Built 1959 by Nohab/GM as 41.02 for VR (1524 mm gauge) but not taken over by VR, so in 1960 this one and two others were rebuilt to 1435 mm gauge and sold to NSB. They have only four traction motors and a higher maximum speed of 143 km/h instead of 105 km/h, so these were used with express passenger trains. Regular service lasted until 2000. NSB Di 3b 642. The locomotive is preserved in its red paint applied since the 1980s. The front windows were replaced (previously they had to be protected by grilles to prevent damage by falling rocks or icicles on bridges and tunnels), and new bright headlights were installed. NSB El 13 2142. Built 1962 by Thune/NEBB, in service until 2002. 37 units were built 1957 to 1966 as an improvement over class El 11. 72 t, 115 km/h, 2648 kW. The locomotive went 5068611 km in its active time and was donated to the museum by CargoNet. It is preserved in its red livery of 1982 and still operational.
