Fondazione FS Italiane looks after and manages the Italian State Railways’ vast historic heritage: it oversees a fleet of over 400 pieces of historic rolling stock, around 200 of which are in full working order.
It also oversees the archives and libraries, both the Pietrarsa and the Trieste Campo Marzio Museums as well as some dedicated Depots (like Pistoia DORS).
Beautifully restored in "Castano e Isabella" colors, historical Third class "Centoporte" coach Clz 36269 exposed outside at Pistoia.

Beautifully restored in "Castano e Isabella" colors, historical 3 axes "Centoporte" coach npBDly 68930 is a special version used as Driving Cab and with a small baggage compartment.
It was included as final coach in the composition of the steam train operated from Pistoia to Montecatini Terme during the open day.

This type of coach contains a steam generator and was used to heat composition with steam heated coaches when hauled by Diesel or Electric locos.

Between 1963 and 1966 some three-phases Electric Locos of the E.550 Class were equipped with snowplug to become Vnx 210-222.
Sometimes tehreafter, snow plug equipped E.550 was also demotorized and re-numbered in the series Vnx 806-210-222.
