The four and six car units consist of two identical half-sets and can be split up and coupled together in the workshop. Since december 2022 they are running on the lines RE1 Magdeburg - Berlin - Frankfurt (Oder), RE8 Wismar - Berlin - Airport BER, in future more lines will be added.
