Netzwerk Europäischer Eisenbahnen, an interest-organisation of rail-freight operators, orgnizised a protest-run around Berlin on 28th of September 2020 with 21 locomotives from 19 different companies. This IGE-loc was one of them and got a special livery for the protest against the rail-politics (state of rail-network and Corona-support for Deutsche Bahn) of the Federal Gouvernment. Veniro VEN 650 352 started service in Boppard on 29th of June 2022. Eine angenehme Überaschung waren die wirklich dick gepolsterten Sitze, die im bundesdeutschen ÖPNV ihresgleichen suchen. Der Kontrast ist besonders groß, wenn man gerade aus den eng und unkomfortabel bestuhlten Desiro ML der Mittelrheinbahn (RB 26) gefallen ist, die ihrerseits das untere Ende des Nahverkehr"komforts" darstellen.
