Taboadela gauge changer on the Madrid-Galicia high speed line seen from a Talgo Avril (Renfe S106) AVE service.
This service is running at this point on the 1668 mm gauge track, and will change to 1435 mm at the Taboadela gauge changer.
To the right the current 1435 mm single track to Ourense can be seen. Until the high speed line is complete with dobule 1435 mm track, between Taboadela and Ourense both gauges merge on a double-gauge single track.
