D19E-929 shunting in Ha Noi station after arrival with a passenger train from the south. Built 2006 as part of the second subseries of class D19E (CSR model CKD7F), unmodified from the first series. The first two series have a more angular body and are painted to match the standard passenger livery perfectly. They are named "Doi Moi" (renewal) - a word used for the policy of economic liberalization since 1986. Length 16892 mm, width 2900 mm, height 3900 mm, Caterpillar 3512B engine, 1455 kW, 120 km/h. 2014-05-12. |
D19E-968 shunting in Da Nang station after arrival with a passenger train from the south. Built 2011 as part of the fourth subseries of class D19E (CSR model CKD7F). The third and fourth subseries have more rounded bodies, in the fourth subseries the windows and headlights were modified compared to the third. The final assembly of this chinese-designed locomotive was in the Gia Lam works of Vietnam Railways. 2014-05-07. |
