Announcement about the introduction of a new express train service: From 5th of september 2005 the fast express train no. 9/10 "Sharq"
will start to run Tashkent - Buchara - Tashkent on mondays, tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays.
In fact it ran Tashkent - Buchara on the days listed, but the return trip was one day later (tue, wed, thu, fri). I didn't find the train in various
timetable sources since march 2006, I don't know whether it is operating now.

Train 56 (Tashkent - Urgench) passing the Miskin triangle.
The line to right leads towards Turtkul - Nukus (opened in 2002), the line to the left goes to Gazarasp - Urgench (without passing Miskin station, opened in 2004, AFAIK)
and crosses a new bridge over the Amu-Darja some kilometers from here.
