In 1999 Alstom delivered 9 locomotives for replacing the series E-900. The E-1350 are similar to the E-1300, but are only used for phosphate trains. The top speed is limited to 120 km/h. On 5th of June 2000 E-1351 has passed Sidi El Aïdi junction with an empty phosphate train of 60 bogie hopper wagons. The locomotives of the series E-1100, E-1200 and E-1300 can haul the same trains with a total weight of 4800 tons.
